Ethiopia Becomes Second User of Marijuana

There are various psychotropic and addictive herbs in the world. Marijuana is one of the most psychotropic herbs.

So 7.1 million people in Ethiopia are users of the drug marijuana and it is the second largest country in Africa.

According to the study, African countries with the highest number of users of the herb rose in rankings with Nigeria with 20.8 million people, Ethiopia with 7.1 million people and Egypt with 5.9 million people. In addition, countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, Madagascar and Ghana are also covered by the study.

The study found that the number of drug users in Africa is increasing from time to time. South Africa is the third largest producer of cannabis in the world. Meanwhile, seven countries, including Lesotho, have licensed the production of marijuana for scientific research and medical purposes.
